Yes, this is just a feeble attempt on the part of the Liberals to pretend to lend legitimacy to the dozen or so women's groups, in order to represent some sort of fairness about the inquiry process. Without freedom of information access, especially court records from women who have laid missing persons reports or complaints against Picton, this process remains a sham. As per s.1 of the Charter, it brings the C.J.S. into disrepute, and protects the very police who may have been complicit with Picton in the first place. Not to mention the ostracization of Kim Rossmo, whose research could have saved many women's lives.

It's sure heart wrenching about the missing and murdered women.
My sister Janet Gail Henry is one of the missing women from the downtown eastside!" I fought for yrs to find her and now all of this is happening.
Sometimes I feel like I Can't take it anymore. I just want to find my sister so my family and I can rest our hearts and our minds. It's the worst thing in the world to have a missing one not knowing if the police will have answers. It feels like they never will. It's 14 yrs now. I keep hoping and keep on praying for anwers. Mabe it will come eventually.
