I will be attending this year’s Memorial March in Vancouver, BC. I spoke to Gladys Radek to let her know.
The only thing I would need is a place to stay.
I will be remembering and marching for my late daughter, Daleen Kay Bosse (Muskego) who went missing from Saskatoon, SK in May of 2004. Her remains were found four years later in 2008. Her murderer sits in jail awaiting the preliminary hearing.
Hello Pauline,
Greetings from Victoria (Songhees, Esquilmalt, and Saanich Territories) – we will be marching on Feb 14th in solidarity with the DTES for the second year and will be sending love and thoughts to your family and Daleen. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
All my relations,
Trish stolensisters@uvicnsu.ca
I will be marching regardless of where I am for my Neice , who’s DNA, was found at the Pickton Pig Farm. Sherry Irving. And will think of all the ladies who fell victim to abuse and was murdered and we will not forget. But find strength in remembering these beautiful women.
As many of you know my book was released on March 19, 2011.

PRESS RELEASE:
Every year 160-200 women are killed in Canada. We know about 100 children are murdered every year as well. What are we doing about it?
We have to change our language and the way we talk about women, the way we label them, dissect them and demean them. I’ve spent the last six years working on The List of 4,000 missing and murdered women and children in Canada-3 years on my newly released book Rampage:the pathology of an epidemic. For five years now we have been doing the Memory March-a walk/vigil to honour the women and children. The first four years in Vancouver-and this year we brought it to the suburubs in Abbotsford.
For many years before that I have worked in my own way to help ease the violence against women by doing Spirit to Heal workshops, producing plays with an anti-violence message and by my other writings.
